    About 359

    Our coaches

One team, one way of working. Personal in style, shared in principles.

The 359 coaches work at NTC in Amstelveen with the same method and the same lesson structure. Every coach has a personal style — the principles they work from are identical.

    Progress. Not Perfection.

Our coaches work with Fit · Fun · Focus — the practical system inside the 359 Method.

At 359.tennis you do not book a lesson with an individual trainer, but with a team that works from the same method. Every coach is trained internally in the 359 Method and applies Fit · Fun · Focus on court. That way lesson quality does not depend on who happens to be coaching that day.

    The team

The coaches you will meet on court in tenniskids, junior, adult and academy programmes.

Why quality comes from the system

Good coaching should not be a matter of luck. So we define how we work: shared principles, internal education and a fixed lesson structure. Personal style stays — the foundation is set.

    Explainable

A coach can explain why an exercise is used at that moment — to the player and to the parent.

    Trainable

The way of working can be taught. New coaches are trained internally in the 359 Method, not in one person's style.

    Repeatable

If a coach is unavailable, the player still recognises the lesson structure. Same principles, same build-up.

    Discussable

Progress is recorded and discussed, so development is visible instead of a feeling afterwards.

How coaches are trained and supported

How we educate, support and observe our coaches is described under Coach education & Coach System. The method itself is explained on the 359 Method. For players with competitive ambition the same team works within the Academy. Want to coach at 359 yourself? See working at 359.
