The 359 coaching team together on court at NTC in Amstelveen
One team at NTC in Amstelveen. Your child is guided by 359 coaches who work with the same method and lesson structure — with a short handover to the parent after the lesson.

Looking for a tennis coach in Amstelveen or Amsterdam? At 359.tennis you do not book an individual tennis instructor, but a team of tennis coaches working from the same method. Every coach is trained internally in the 359 Method and applies Fit · Fun · Focus during lessons at NTC / TV De Kegel in Amstelveen. That way lesson quality does not depend on who happens to be coaching that day.

Looking for a tennis coach? What to check

Most people compare tennis schools on price and time slot. These five points say more about how much a player actually develops.

    • Training and supervision

Ask how a tennis coach is trained and who observes them. At 359 every coach is trained internally in the 359 Method.

    • A fixed lesson structure

A good tennis instructor works from a recognisable build-up, not from loose drills that change every week.

    • Grouping by age and level

Players improve fastest in a group that fits. We place on age, level and availability.

    • Feedback to parents

You want to know where your child stands. Progress is recorded and discussed, not felt afterwards.

    • Lessons all year round

Indoor at NTC in Amstelveen lessons continue in the rain — and no club membership is required.

    Starting tennis: how it works

Group lessons start from €258 per season (20 weeks), private lessons from €2,510 and duo private lessons from €1,340 per person.

    1. 1

Pick by age and level. Not sure? Choose the closest fit — we will check it with you.

    2. 2

      Give wide availability

The more time slots you tick, the better we can place you with a matching group and coach.

    3. 3

      We place you

We place on age, level and availability, and let you know which group you start in.

Why quality comes from the system

Good coaching should not be a matter of luck. So we define how we work: shared principles, internal education and a fixed lesson structure. Personal style stays — the foundation is set.

    Explainable

A coach can explain why an exercise is used at that moment — to the player and to the parent.

    Trainable

The way of working can be taught. New coaches are trained internally in the 359 Method, not in one person's style.

    Repeatable

If a coach is unavailable, the player still recognises the lesson structure. Same principles, same build-up.

    Discussable

Progress is recorded and discussed, so development is visible instead of a feeling afterwards.

How coaches are trained and supported

How we educate, support and observe our coaches is described under Coach education & Coach System. The method itself is explained on the 359 Method. For players with competitive ambition the same team works within the Academy. Want to coach at 359 yourself? See working at 359.
