    The Path to Progress

Learn to coach with a system that goes beyond technique.

359 Coach Education helps trainers read players better, design better sessions and guide progress with Fit · Fun · Focus.

Three levels · Theory + Practice · From coach to specialist

    ABN AMRO OPEN

Developed for the ABN AMRO OPEN

For the ABN AMRO OPEN, 359 developed a scalable clinic concept that works for public audiences, corporates, and VIP relations. We have been executing this programme ourselves for over 10 years. From 10 to 120 participants per session. A new group every 30 minutes. This is not a one-off clinic — it's a proven system for impact at scale.

    Work with the 359 Method
    The 359 Method

    Fit · Fun · Focus™

Tennis is the medium. Development is the goal. The 359 Method is the system.

Whether you come to stay fit, for the fun and the people, or to truly grow your game — every session at 359 is built around three pillars: Fit, Fun and Focus. Discover the 359 Method →

That is why we are 359, not 360 degrees: perfection is never the goal. There is always room for improvement, growth and progress.

    PROGRESS. NOT PERFECTION.

The 359.coach certification programme is the internal training pathway for tennis coaches at 359.tennis. Three levels (Basic, Advanced, Expert/Mentor) with theory and practical exams based on the 359 Development System, at NTC Amstelveen near Amsterdam. Part of the Coach System.

    Recognition

Do you recognise this as a coach?

You teach a lot, but grow very little

You learn mainly through experience, not through structure

You rarely get real feedback on your coaching

Every coach around you works differently — there's no standard

You feel you can do better, but don't know exactly how

    Consequence

    And if this continues?

    Stagnation gradually becomes the norm

The gap between teaching and developing keeps growing

Without structure, you repeat patterns instead of breaking through them

By the time you notice, you've already invested a lot of time in patterns that don't take you further

"The difference between teaching and developing isn't about experience — it's about structure."

Professional growth doesn't happen by itself. Without structure, you keep doing what you've always done — and that's rarely enough for the level you want to reach.

The question is not whether you can improve as a coach. The question is: are you working from structure — or relying on experience alone?

The 359 Method — also for you

At most tennis schools, the coach is a service provider. At 359.tennis, the coach is a professional in development. Everyone can make progress — including the coach. There is always room for improvement.

    Progress. Not Perfection.

Not a tennis coaching course. By design.

359.tennis is not a tennis coaching course — and that is a deliberate choice. We don't train you to become a tennis instructor. We develop you as a coach within a system.

Most qualifications focus on technique and didactics. The 359 Coach System goes further. You learn to work within the 359 Development System — where sport is used as a vehicle for human development.

    That means:

    • Working with Fit · Fun · Focus as a system, not as loose principles
    • Guiding development instead of just delivering training
    • Coaching players as people, not just as athletes

Already hold a qualification (KNLTB, ITF, PTR or equivalent)? That's your starting point — not your ceiling. Within 359 you continue to grow as a coach, within a proven methodology.

Not a standard course. A system in which you grow as a coach.
