What does my child need?
- Clothing: sportswear and sports shoes (no black soles for indoor)
- Racket: at 359.tennis we offer a free loaner racket for beginners
- Drinks: bring a water bottle
- No special tennis clothing needed — comfortable is sufficient
What happens during the first lesson?
The first lesson is about getting to know each other and having fun:
- Meeting the coach and other children
- Play activities with balls and rackets — focused on ball feel and movement
- No technical pressure — the goal is a smile at the end
- The coach observes the child for group placement

From what age can my child start?
At 359.tennis we start from age 4.
Can I watch?
Yes, parents are welcome to watch the first lesson(s). We ask you to keep some distance so the child feels free to explore.
What if my child doesn't like it?
Some children need 2-3 lessons to settle in. Our coaches are experienced with hesitant children.
How are groups formed?
Based on age and level. Beginners join the Tennis Kids programme with adapted balls and court sizes.
Do I have to book a full season?
At 359.tennis, you register directly for a lesson programme. There are no separate trial lessons — your child is placed in the right group based on age, level, and availability from their very first session.
